Volunteers meet growing need
As demand for our service grows and patients’ needs become more complex, we’re evolving our model of care to meet that demand head on. Many of our volunteers come to us with phenomenal skill sets and a wealth of lived experience, and with the right support and training they can play a vital role in supporting our clinical teams to deliver an exceptional level of care.

A bold act of kindness for hospice

Art Affair features local talent
Harbour Hospice’s elegant new fundraiser, Art Affair, is returning in March with a line-up of 15 extraordinary artists. Among them is well-known interior designer Shanly Simpson, who grew up in Glenfield and attended Takapuna Grammar School.

Hospice art show returns
Tui House in Warkworth will host Art Affair next month, a major fundraiser for Harbour Hospice. The exhibition will feature the work of 15 artists. Among the 10 newcomers will be Laura Tait from Puhoi Farmhouse, who creates stunning floral artworks by photographing the flowers she grows in her garden.

Chapter ends for Harbour Hospice shop, but local support continues
Harbour Hospice has announced that its Te Hana Shop will close in April, following a difficult and carefully considered decision.
