Harbour Hospice celebrated its volunteers’ dedication with its annual Harbour Hospice Warkworth/Wellsford Long Service Awards at Tui House on July 31. Valerie Partridge was one of the two volunteers recognised for 25 years – the other Elizabeth Clark.

Easter knitted chicks bring in a cool $4000
The results are in from our knitted chick Easter campaign. A total of 502 chicks were sold, raising an incredible $4016 for Harbour Hospice.

Easter chick cuteness hits hospice shops
How cute are these little Easter chicks! We’ll be selling these in selected hospice shops this week, with a chocolate egg tucked inside each one.

Young minds
At 22 years old Jai Pandya is being recognised for five years’ service at this year’s Long Service Awards, and his friend Libby Easterbrook is close to achieving the same.
