We’re thrilled to let you know that the final two stages of the redevelopment have council consent and are underway. A significant milestone has been reached with the roof under construction, thanks to a significant grant from The Trusts Community Foundation.
March 2022
It’s now been a year since work began at 7 Shea Terrace and, despite delays caused by Covid-19, we’ve achieved a major milestone in completing stage one of the project and re-opening our Inpatient Unit. Here’s what else has been happening onsite.
October 2021
With the move to Alert Level 3 on September 21 we’re happy to report that construction has recommenced at 7 Shea Terrace. The project team is making good progress under strict protocols to keep everyone safe from Delta and a new date has been set for the reopening of our Inpatient Unit (IPU).
September 2021
It was only a matter of time before we saw Delta in New Zealand. Like many construction projects, work at 7 Shea Terrace was forced to stop as we were sent quickly into Alert Level 4 and told to go home to stay safe.
August 2021
We hope you’re enjoying these updates on our vital redevelopment project. This month we’re pleased to announce that phase 1 of construction is coming to an end with patients and whānau beginning to be welcomed back onsite next month.
