It was only a matter of time before we saw Delta in New Zealand. Like many construction projects, work at 7 Shea Terrace was forced to stop as we were sent quickly into Alert Level 4 and told to go home to stay safe.
Our thoughts go out to all our North Shore neighbours and local businesses who have been impacted by the sudden lockdown. We hope you and your family are keeping safe in this challenging time.
Return to Shea Terrace delayed
In our last update we were on track to welcome the first of our patients back to the newly refurbished Inpatient Unit early this month. Sadly, due to the Level 4 lockdown and our project team unable to go onsite, our return has been delayed. For every week Auckland is at Level 4, our return date will be pushed out by a week.
At this stage, we expect work to recommence on site at Alert Level 3.
