mARTakana was a great success again this year with over 340 pieces of art on display from over 80 artists, both local and NZ wide. We had so many positive comments from those who attended throughout the four days, in particular about the high standard of art on display and the presentation.
The preview night and live auction event was attended by around 160 people, creating a real buzz with the live auction raising $5,750 from pieces donated to Harbour Hospice by our wonderfully generous artists. Across the four days 120 pieces were sold with the event raising an amazing $28,000 for Hospice care in the Warkworth/Wellsford area.
