Raised over $3,000 to give back during Covid-19 Pandemic
In the safely of their lockdown bubbles, people with extra time on their hands reengaged with their talents to give back in inventive ways. The Vandervorst family are an incredible example of this, wanting to do something meaningful that gave back to their ‘charity of choice’.
Together they wrote Stanley and Kitty – Stay Home & Stay Safe, a touching children’s story book about the adventures of teddy bears Kitty and Stanley during Level 4 lockdown.
Once the book was written and illustrated, it was printed as a hard cover book with support from a local printer and sold through the Milford Hospice Shop.
