To celebrate Hospice Awareness Week (17-23 May) this week, we’ve created a series of short stories and videos that shine a light on the lesser-known aspects of hospice and how we care for those in our community.

While most people know that hospice offers care and comfort in a medical capacity to patients with life-limiting conditions, fewer know that at Harbour Hospice we also provide complementary therapy, spiritual care, support for families and that we facilitate social connections through pairing patients with volunteers who want to make a difference.

Each day we will bring you a new story and we hope that by the end of this week you’ll have a much better understanding of the depth and breadth of the services we provide, free of charge, to anybody in the community who needs them.
