Self Care Programmes
Relaxation and Self Care (Hibiscus Coast)
Who: For patients and their main carer.
Purpose: This programme provides education, guided mindfulness & relaxation practices and support. The focus is on managing stress and anxiety. Other topics include nutrition, exercise and sleep. This programme is facilitated by our social worker.
When: Thursday mornings 10:30am – 12 noon. A morning tea is provided. This is a 6 week programme and participants are asked to start in week 1 or week 2.
Where: Harbour Hospice Hibiscus Coast, 2a John Dee Crescent, Whangaparoa.

Compassion and Meditation (North Shore)
Who: Anyone
Purpose: For people seeking quiet time as part of their day.
When: Every Monday and Friday 2pm in the Quiet Room for 15 minutes
Where: Harbour Hospice North Shore, 7 Shea Terrace, Takapuna.
