Harbour Hospice offers six-month placements for Registrars who have chosen Palliative Care as their speciality. Palliative care embraces the holistic care model and the Palliative trainee is an integral part of the multi-professional team which includes nurses, social workers, counsellors, chaplains, physiotherapists, cultural advisors and complementary therapists. 

Harbour Hospice provides palliative care to patients through general practice, in partnership with doctors and district nursing in the community; and in specialist settings, both advisory and clinically through Hospice clinics and in-patient units, and in community care facilities like private hospitals.
