Harbour Hospice Chief Executive Jan Nichols leads a specialist team, who are all committed to, and passionate about creating a world-class space that can continue to support the urgent needs of our community now and well into the future.

The project is managed by a committee of health service planners, industry experts, business leaders and Harbour Hospice trustees and staff members. Through each step of the journey, the team has worked closely with user groups including patients, families, volunteers and staff to ensure our final design solution gives the best possible outcome for the wider community.

DOUG WHITCOMBE / Project Manager

Doug Whitcombe is our Project Manager and the Auckland Regional Manager of Johnstaff.

He's worked in the New Zealand property and construction industry for the past 19 years and has been involved in all aspects of the industry including design team management, project management/delivery, construction management and contract management. His experience includes a track record of successfully delivering a range of project sizes up to $150 million and project types including residential, commercial, industrial, civil/infrastructure, base build and tenant fit-out.

Doug places a strong emphasis on creating a cohesive team to ensure best for project outcomes.
