Volunteer Services Coordinator
Harbour Hospice provides specialist palliative care services to patients and families living on the Hibiscus Coast, on the North Shore and in the Warkworth and Wellsford communities. We operate from three main sites at Red Beach, Takapuna and Warkworth. We are a values based organisation and take pride in working with and caring for people in our communities.
Our Volunteer Services Coordinator’s work directly with prospective volunteers to take them through our recruitment process, from initial application and background checking to interviewing and successful placement (and all the administration that goes with this).
All Volunteers go through our Orientation Programme, and this role will be involved in working closely with the team to ensure the smooth organisation and delivery of this to volunteers.
As a strong communicator, you will easily build relationships with a wide range of people and have the ability to gather information to make decisions on applicants’ suitability. Preferably, you will have experience in a similar volunteer or recruitment administration role and worked in a not for profit environment. You will also have:
