Planned Giving Coordinator
Harbour Hospice provides specialist palliative care services to patients and families living on the Hibiscus Coast, on the North Shore and in the Warkworth and Wellsford communities. We operate from three main sites at Red Beach, Takapuna and Warkworth. We are a values based organisation and take pride in working with and caring for people in our communities.
The Planned Giving Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with individuals, community groups and retirement villages. Actively creating awareness of Hospice’s holistic services and how people can participate in and support the future of Warkworth Wellsford by pledging to leave a bequest i.e. Gift in Will.
This is a part time role (8 hours per week) with flexible hours and will be based at our Warkworth site.
You will have a warm and engaging personality with the ability to introduce an idea or concept into the conversation naturally. You will be detail oriented, taking pride in maintaining immaculate database records. It may be that you have worked for a not for profit organisation in the past or have some experience with Fundraising although this is not essential; what is important is that your personal values align with those of Harbour Hospice.
