About Us

Harbour Hospice is the only specialist, palliative care provider for families living in the Hibiscus Coast, North Shore and Warkworth / Wellsford communities. We provide compassionate, free care working primarily with patients, families and carers in their homes, and also within our three hospice sites. Our bespoke services include medical care, spiritual support, physiotherapy, social activities and more, with an emphasis on helping people live every moment in whatever way is important to them.

About the Role

The Clinical Administrator provides a wide range of admin support to a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians based at our Hospice in Takapuna along with being the first point of phone contact for our patients, families, caregivers and other external providers.

This position is part time from Monday to Thursday from 8:00am - 4:30pm (needs to be flexible to cover leave and days off).

Responsibilities will include:

  • General Administration duties including data entry, processing clinical letters, reporting and meeting support
  • Managing patient and visiting scheduler in Palcare (patient information management system)
  • Being a Team Player as this role is a job share
  • All round Administrator, the “go to person” when someone needs admin, low level IT support & getting information together

About You

Needless to say you’re the sort of person who loves to be organized and ensure everyone you’re looking after is you are supporting is organized as well. You’ll have great time management skills, attention to detail and you’ll be a real people person both face to face, over the phone and via email. Ideally, you will have worked within a clinical setting and have extensive experience working with all MS Office products in particular Outlook and Excel and within patient database systems.

You’ll be a key player in a tight knit team of administrators who work across the three Hospices.
