Registered Nurse Community Palliative Care
Harbour Hospice provides specialist palliative care services to patients and families living on the Hibiscus Coast, on the North Shore and in the Warkworth and Wellsford communities. We operate from three main sites at Red Beach, Takapuna and Warkworth. We are a values based organisation and take pride in working with and caring for people in our communities.
As a member of the Community Palliative Care team, you will be responsible for providing symptom management and end-of-life care for community based patients with a wide range of diagnoses and at different stages of their disease trajectory.
Working alongside other members of the Hospice’s multi-disciplinary professional team, our nurses take pride in delivering holistic care to our patients and their families.
This is a part-time role, working 32 hours a week and will be based out of our Hospice in Takapuna. The successful applicant will become part of an experienced, tightknit team with ongoing educational opportunities.
You will be a Registered Nurse, ideally with experience working in a palliative care or another relevant setting. This is a unique time in people’s lives, so you will have a real passion for working with patients and families with palliative care needs. You will have:
