Front UP for Hospice with Harcourts Cooper & Co
Thank you to everyone who supported the Front UP for Hospice challenge with Harcourts Cooper & Co, helping to raise over $29,000 for Hospice services in the North Shore community.
Congratulations goes to the ‘Two Has-beens’ (AKA Kris & Marty) who took out the overall champion title as top fundraisers and to ‘Racing for Riki’ (AKA the McDonnells) for having the top score on challenge day.
There was a ‘community’ theme running throughout challenge day as participants built a home for Hospice, house of cards and a castle on the beach. They also celebrated our diverse community by learning a dance from another culture and showed off the beautiful landscape we have here on the Shore with many photos.
More than 80% of Hospice care happens out in the community, in the place our patients call home. The funds raised through this event will assist us to deliver Hospice care into homes on the North Shore of around 700 patients and their families in the next 12 months.
Grateful thanks to our event partners Harcourts Cooper & Co, Smales Farm with Vodafone NZ, The Better NZ Trust with Auckland Transport, More Fm Auckland, Big Street Bikers and Cube design and print. Thank you also to our supporting sponsors Mitre 10 Mega Glenfield, Resene ColourShop, Ecosotre, Columbus Coffee Smales Farm, Ellice Road Hospice Shop and CuppaCoffeeCup.
