Front UP for Hospice

Sat 2 November 2019

Smales Farm

Front UP for Hospice is an ‘Amazing Race’ style charity event created to bring families and friends together to raise much-needed funds for Harbour Hospice patients and their families in the North Shore community.

Team UP, dress UP, then Front UP
Teams go head to head, completing exciting challenges across the North Shore with help from electric cars and bikes to help you move between the challenges.

Each team has a fundraising target, and with our support you will reach this goal by encouraging friends, family and acquaintances to support your efforts and get behind a great local cause. More to come on this shortly!

And because we all love an excuse to whip out the fancy dress, Front UP invites you to dress up and create picture-perfect memories and selfie moments along the way.

What’s in it for you?
By getting involved, you will do a whole lot of good for your local hospice. And you can win prizes for:

* Crossing the line with the most points
* Being our top Fundraising team

Prize details will be revealed shortly.

The cause
With your help, all funds raised through Front UP will directly help us extend Hospice care in our North Shore community.

At Harbour Hospice (which unites our sites on the North Shore, Hibiscus Coast and Warkworth / Wellsford), we provide compassionate, specialist care to people with any life-limiting illness and offer wrap around support to whānau and caregivers. It’s about living every moment, whether at home or being cared for at our Hospice sites.

Our range of specialist services are free of charge to people who need them. Although we receive some government funding for operating costs, we rely heavily on the generosity of our communities through donations and fundraising so we can continue giving the best possible service well into the future.
